How To Design Your Personal Feng Shui Fountain?

Almost everybody hears Feng shui here and there but not everyone know its meaning. Feng shui is an ancient art and science of directional energies and “vibes” that we receive from the environment that we live in, either from our home or office. It is an art focused simply around balancing chi, the energy present throughout the world.

Few questions to consider:

Are you aware that you could be inviting bad luck, bad health, and misery toward you without your knowledge?

Do you understand what feng shui is and how the geo-magnetic vibes work?

Do you know that you can harness the immense potential of Feng shui to magnetize your home and office for health and wealth?

This article will cover basic feng shui technique that you can easily apply in your home – how to make a feng shui fountain.

A water fountain can calm our spirit with its delicately flowing water and pristine beauty. You can easily transform any spot in your home or flower garden into a tranquil haven by installing a calming water fountain. A feng shui fountain brings harmony to a room through the soft white noise it creates. A white noise is the neutralizing factor to the chaos that is inherent in busy working places.

And one of the primary tenets of feng shui is balance which is vital to living a good life. Having said the above, bringing in the water element inside by making a table-top water fountain can be your first step in feng shui.

Below are some instructions from designer expert Ingrid King. Be inspired to undertake this project after reading how easy it is to create your very own feng shui water fountain.

To get started, you will need the following materials:

Watertight container and a pump (available at most craft supply stores or from pond supply stores) with water flow control

• A sturdy plastic container, cut to fit over and protect pump assembly Tubing, black or clear
• Pieces of pre-cut PVC pipe
• Plastic embroidery grid, cut to fit fountain container
• Window screen, cut to fit fountain container
• Marbles, river rock, beach rocks, polished pebbles, pink quartz or flagstone Copper elbow to direct water

First, you’ll want to place the pump in the bottom of the fountain’s base and cover the pump with a sturdy plastic container, with places cut out on the sides for the cord to run through and for the water intake as well as a place cut out of the top for water outflow. The plastic container will protect the pump from the weight of the heavy rock. Add a length of tubing to the pump outlet.

Next, you want to surround the plastic container with PVC pieces and place a piece of plastic embroidery grid (you can get from any craft store) and a piece of window screen (from any hardware store) on top of the PVC pieces. You want to make sure the pump tubing extends through the top of the grid and screen.

Now the fun begins! Place the decorative filler material (rocks, pebbles, etc.) on top of the window screen. Use any material that won’t fall apart over time.

Everything is starting to come together. Add the copper elbow to the end of the tubing, directing it so that the water flows where you intend it to flow, and then conceal the tip with another decorative rock. Fill the container with water and plug in the pump.

Stress affects most of us, and life can is filled with external and internal noise which we can easily find balance by bringing in an element of Feng Shui as simple as a water fountain. Understanding the science and mystery behind these unseen energies can make your personal and professional life more fulfilling and prosperous.
