My fishing stinks in Animal Crossings: City Folk?

I’ve only been able to catch common small fish lately with the odd red snapper. All through out May I didn’t have one good fish, and some fish that appeared during spring/summer haven’t appeared at all. I pulled all the weeds ion my town, still nothing. My house is the musical instrument theme, so I can’t really have any fung shei.
Alos, my grass is disapearing in sosme places. How do I get it back?

Kay so for your grass question; it does that because you often run around those places alot, so it wares down grass if you want to get it back try not to run there, for a while.. or time travel a day forward till you get up to like 3 months or something.

For your fish problem just keep walking around all the rivers and the ocean, wait till you see an interesting shadow and fish.. It’s all chance so just dont run by the rivers and stuff. You’ll get some good fish eventually.. also try fishing at different times of the day rather then when you normally fish.
